How do I find a doctor in Bex?

What should I do in the evening or at the weekend if it is not a life-threatening emergency?

Do I need a prescription for physiotherapy?

For basic insurance to cover physiotherapy, a medical prescription is generally required. Without a prescription, you can usually still consult, but the treatment is then at your own expense. Ask the practice what applies in your case.

Can I see a doctor in Valais if I live in the canton of Vaud (and vice versa)?

What is the difference between deductible and co-payment?

The deductible (franchise) is the annual amount you pay first. The co-payment (quote-part) is then 10% of costs, capped at CHF 700 per year for an adult. See Insurance.

Tiers payant or tiers garant: which one applies to me?

It depends on the healthcare provider. With tiers garant, you pay and then get reimbursed; with tiers payant (direct billing), the invoice goes straight to your insurer. Ask the practice before your appointment.

How do I get home care?
